The Solar Still Project provides a sustainable method for purifying polluted water. It involves using solar and thermal energy to evaporate water out of a contaminated mixture. As a team, we are working to achieve the following with our project:
Evaporate clean water from polluted water
Extract/collect clean water
Provide a consistent input of dirty water
Keep costs and maintenance low for public benefit

We have compiled a list of materials for construction. We are going to use a float valve to allow automatic flow of dirty water from a collection tank into a separate evaporation compartment.
Plan to build in Boyd Lab.
